PHP Variables

We do not need to declare the data types of the variables. It automatically assigns the values and makes conversions to its correct datatype. After declaring a variable, it can be reused throughout the code. A variable can have a short name (like $a and $b) or a more descriptive name ($dob, $name, $total_fees).

PHP Data Types

Data Types define the type of data a variable can store. PHP allows eight different types of data types. All of them are discussed below. There are pre-defined, user-defined, and special data types.

PHP Comments

A comment in any computer program is a certain explanatory text that is ignored by the language compiler/interpreter. Its purpose is to help the user understand the logic used in the program algorithm.
